Tom and Gayle adopted two shelter dogs. Dixie, the mother dog on the left, had her pups at the shelter. Obie, in the center, was one of Dixie's puppies. She didn't look like any of the other puppies, who tended to take after Dixie. Obie has longer fur which is wavy and black.
