Newly engaged Scott McFarland and Jill Watson of San Antonio requested that donations be made to the HSMC in lieu of gifts for the engagement party held at her parents, Mary Ann and Dick Watson’s home in Macomb. So far, $420 has been collected. A few additional checks were sent directly to HSMC.
The picture on the request shows their four dogs with the proposal on each of their four tags: Will, You, Marry, Me. Sweet. Nice couple and great parents who are HSMC members.
Jill was fostering Buddy a few years ago and her parents fell in love with him while visiting her. Buddy now lives at the Watson residence in Macomb.
Lee Trotter and his band of merry pranksters have once again organized the 10th Annual Kris Moore Gimme Shelter Golf Tournament.

This is a wonderful event in honor of a great man, Kris Moore, who was a long-time HSMC member and volunteer. We hope to see you there! Please forward to anyone you know interested in playing.
Danny Torrance at Gold Hills has asked a favor….To make things easier that morning please call Gold Hills (309-837-2930) to let them know that you will be playing and if possible identify your Team Captain. This will help expedite the process of assigning scorecards, cart borrowing, and teeing off on time.
Please help with any prizes you can help with and let me know who is on your teams. Twosomes are fine as well. Please let me know soon. The Moore Family and I love to hold this event just to see all you guys again; and share a cocktail or story or two. Pass this along to anyone who liked Kris, the Humane Society, or some rough customers usually hitting from the rough. I look forward to seeing you there!! RSVP to Me or Jeff Moore at Jeff Moore (email@example.com)
