Cats need homes by March 25th. Can you help?

UPDATE…Blaze and Frozen have been adopted!

Blaze is one of the friendliest cats around. He’s around 3 years old. This orange boy will be your buddy for years to come.

Frozen is a special boy. He is a senior cat that is FIV+. However, many cats with FIV live normal lives. Frozen nearly died being outside in January. He’s improving with meds. He is a wonderful cat. Frozen should be an only cat.

Female Boxer Mix to rehome

Jane is being fostered by the Humane Society. Please contact us if you are interested in giving this beautiful girl her forever home!

JaneDue to medical issues we are spending a lot of time at a hospital and are so sad to do this, but are looking for a loving home for our dog Jane (4 year female boxer pit bull mix). She is house trained, loves walks, snuggling under blankets, and just loves being around people. She had a rough life before we adopted her over a year ago. She does have issues with other dogs sometimes, but she has been around other dogs and our cat. Please help us find a home for this loving dog.

Cats need homes now!

All three of these cats have found their forever homes!!!

The HSMC is pleased to announce that we have sponsorship for these three cats; Oddy, Al, and Annabelle whose time is up at the McDonough County Animal Shelter on February 26th. Thanks to the generosity of an HSMC member, the HSMC can reimburse $30 of the regular adoption fee of $60 (+$12 microchip fee). This offer is only good on Oddy, Al, and Annabelle. If one of these three cats is a cat you would like to adopt, you will have to complete the adoption process at the McDonough County Animal Shelter, including the $60 adoption fee plus $12 microchip fee. Upon adoption of a cat from the shelter you get a coupon for spay/neuter services at the veterinarian clinics in Macomb, Bushnell, or Blandinsville. Once Oddy, Al, or Annabelle has visited one of these vet clinics and completed his or her spay/neuter, contact the HSMC (837-5611) or mail a copy of the adoption contract to HSMC, PO Box 7, Macomb IL 61455 and we will send you the $30 reimbursement. These are three very nice cats who deserve a second chance.

Oddy is and beautiful black domestic short haired boy and not quite one year old. He is a playful friendly guy who likes toys and people.

Al is a white and tabby domestic long hair and around 8 months old. He has beautiful long hair on his chest. He like attention and purrs as soon as someone picks him up.

Annabelle is a torie/calico short haired girl and 3-4 years old. She has beautiful markings you must really see in person. If you like cats that purr, Annabelle is your girl.

Please visit the McDonough County Animal Shelter at 101 E. Tower Road in Macomb, IL. Hours are 11-5 Monday thru Friday and Saturday 10-12. The phone number is 309-837-2989.
