Hello, Clarice!

ClariceClarice is around 10 months old. This black cat with a spot of white is a delight. She can cuddle as well as zoom at the speed of sound. She needs a home or foster home by April 28th. She is at the McDonough County Animal Shelter.

After you welcome Clarice to your home, you might want to enjoy some liver, fava beans and a nice chianti!

Five Cats Need Homes Now!

RueThese five lovely ladies need permanent homes or foster homes by April 25th. We have a bevy of calico/tortie girls.

Rue is the only non-calico girl. She is a sweet orange tabby. Rue will purr at the drop of a hat. She around a year old with plenty of love to give.

 

Katniss is also around a year old. She is a lovely darker tortie girl.

 

PrimroseJunePrimose is a gorgeous tortie girl who is around a year old. She loves to frolic and receive attention.

 

 

 

 

 

June has come out of shell. Found as a stray, she was quite timid. She now enjoys playing through the cage with the cats around her. Check out her beautiful markings! She can be aloof and a bit temperamental at times.

 

April was also brought in as a stray. She is a beautiful calico girl. She has so much to give to a new family.

Spanky Lost in Macomb

Spanky was last seen in the 500 Block of West Pierce Street as of April 6th morning. He is Black and White, long-haired and is micro-chipped but has no collar. He is a shy cat but friendly. Any help is welcome. Fee will be paid to the person returning the cat alive and well.

Thursday Spotlight

Dice and Eightball are littermates. They are almost a year old. Dice is a handsome long-haired male and Eightball is a short-haired boy. They are both neutered. Their markings are wonderful as are there temperaments. Check them out this Saturday at Macomb City Hall from Noon to 2 p.m.Dice

Today we feature Becky and Gianna.

BeckyBecky is a friendly tabby girl. She enjoys warming laps and receiving attention. She’s a lovely girl.

Gianna is a beautiful silvery cat. Around a year old, Gianna has plenty of life and love to give. Gianna is good with children and other cats.Gianna content

Today’s spotlight features two gorgeous girls.

FrecklesFreckles is a beautiful calico cat. She is around 2 years old. Freckles enjoys attention and loves to play.

 

 

 

 

 

lkjYZBonnie is a special needs senior. This blue-eyed beauty has a sensitive stomach, requiring a special diet and she currently takes medication for it. She loves to be petted and will purr non-stop.

Foster Cat Spotlight

This week we will spotlight the foster cats available for adoption at Saturday’s Foster Cat Showcase.

To continue their bonding, these two almost year old kittens are available for the price of one. Their love for one another is truly beautiful to watch. They also love to play.

Spring Foster Cat Showcase

Join us for the Spring Foster Cat Showcase on April 2 from Noon to 2 p.m. Come choose your new buddy from several different cats. Lap cats, older kittens, adventurous cats will abound. We will also have pet-themed tote bags and note cards with cat artwork available for purchase. Even if you aren’t ready to get a new pet, stop by with donations of pet food or kitty litter for the Pet Food Pantry the HSMC has at Loaves and Fishes, Inc. See your Humane Society in action.
